The Old L.A. Zoo makes me sad :(

You can find The Old L.A. Zoo at Griffith Park, was made around the 1913s’
Me & my little family were so excited to visit the old L.A. Zoo, so we got there and at first glanced I was excited to see the huge cages they had before, as I saw them I decided to take a family photo. After the photo I wanted to explore the cage, my huge smile wiped off when I saw the background it almost brought me to tears.
I noticed there was no room for these animals to move around, play, sleep, or walk. Enough for them to sleep and eat, that’s it!
As we continue exploring the zoo, my heart was sinking. (will post photos later) As you see on the above photo, how or why is a polar bear in such a tiny space? Why was he even here in L.A.?
Then I read on how the zoo didn’t even have a licensed vet or a vet at all! GRRRRR… WTH were they thinking. Many of these poor animals died from starvation, health, limited space. Some were even fed HORSE MEAT!!! WTF! These animals didn’t ask to be taken away from their wild lives.
Anyway, on a “good note” thank goodness the park was finally closed after so many years and a much better home was build for them :) and the new L.A. zoo does help and heal the wounded animals.
Although they say that the old L.A zoo is haunted by the poor animals who suffered and struggled for life. I hope that it is not, I hope that these animals spirits are free! Free from all the pain and suffering.
